Dr Saher Ali
With over 20 years of experience of teaching in Higher Education in various roles, Dr Saher Ali is a traditionally trained scientist with extensive training in the teachings of anatomy and physiology. Currently employed at Torrens University Australia, Saher’s current research interests include the delivery of biomedical education to undergraduate students, digital literacy and academic integrity. She has also served as an Academic Integrity officer for the university. Prior to her role at Torrens, she is teaching as a senior lecturer and received her doctorate from RMIT University.
Alongside her doctorate, she has acquired training in anatomy and physiology pedagogy. Her academic journey has allowed her to embark on a journey to increase student engagement and improve learning outcomes using modern and innovative teaching.

Dr. Lo Yueh Yea (Janice)
Dr. Lo Yueh Yea is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Malaya, specialising in language and literacy education, academic writing, teacher education, intercultural communication, and technology-enhanced learning. An award-winning scholar, she has received multiple Best Presenter, Best Paper, and Educational Innovation Gold Awards, and was ranked in the Top 10% Web of Science Indexed Journals Series 2025 (-13). Dr. Lo bridges research and practice to foster ethical, impactful, and future-ready scholarship, and has led collaborative projects in language education innovation and digital literacy. She is a frequent keynote and invited speaker at leading international education conferences.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Malini Ganapathy
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Malini Ganapathy is a lecturer at the School of Languages, Literacies and Translation, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang. She holds a Certificate of Education (TESL), a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in English Language and Literature Studies, as well as a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Universiti Sains Malaysia. With over 18 years of teaching experience in secondary education prior to joining the university in 2014, Dr. Ganapathy brings extensive academic and pedagogical expertise to her field. Her research interests focus on English Language Teaching (ELT), literacy studies—including multiliteracies, multimodality, and new literacies—as well as academic writing. Dr. Ganapathy has been actively involved in numerous national and international research projects, including grants related to mobile learning, higher-order thinking skills (HOTS), plagiarism in higher education, and innovative pedagogical frameworks for ESL learners. She has also contributed to international research collaborations, reflecting her engagement in advancing global academic discourse. An accomplished scholar, she has published extensively in reputable international and local journals, with a strong focus on ESL pedagogy, digital literacy practices, and language learning innovations. Her work frequently explores the integration of technology and creative teaching approaches to enhance students’ learning experiences and writing proficiency. In addition to her research contributions, Dr. Ganapathy has significant experience in undergraduate teaching, covering areas such as English grammar, literature, linguistics, and professional communication. Her commitment to teaching excellence and research innovation continues to shape her contributions to the field of applied linguistics and language education.
